NTPC’s installed capacity at 55,126 MW

Public Sector power generator NTPC announced the increase of its total installed capacity to 55,126 MW with the commissioning of the first unit of 800 MW of Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Project (2×800 MW).

The Gadarwara Supercritical coal-based power project is located in Madhya Pradesh. In a statement issued here on Monday, the company said itaims to achieve a total installed capacity of 130 GW by 2032.
