Construction work of 21 kilometer conveyor belt for transportation of coal is being done by NTPC in other blocks including Barkagaon working in Hazaribagh district and currently its trial and testing work is going on and this process will continue for some more time.Contractors will be hired by the contractor only after the trial and testing process is over. As far as the appointment of outsiders is concerned, no outsider shall be employed amongst the unskilled category of workers in the manufacture of conveyor belts.
In this work, only the local and the family members of the displaced people will be appointed, all the above said NTPC’s high officer Vijay Kumar Juyal.
