The Talcher Super Thermal Power Station has ensured round the clock power supply. The station has registered a PLF of 80.93 per cent in April.
The plant is strictly adhering to the guidelines regarding lockdown and social distancing in its control room and other operation areas.
Masks and sanitisers have been provided to employees and contractual workers of various departments for proper hygiene. The station has also installed wash basins and liquid soap dispensers at entry gates to enforce hand washing.Thermal scanners were used by CISF personnel to check for body temperature of employees at its plant entry/exit gates as preventive measure to contain Covid-19.
