NTPC Q2 net profit rises 38% to ₹3,409 crore
NEW DELHI : State-run power giant NTPC on Saturday posted around 38% rise in its consolidated net profit at ₹3,408.92 crore in the quarter to September 2019, driven by higher revenues.
The company had reported ₹2,477.28 crore consolidated net profit in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Total income rose to ₹26,274.66 crore in the second quarter from ₹23,566.65 crore a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
For the six-month period (April-September), consolidated net profit came in at ₹6,249.20 crore over ₹5,166.24 crore a year earlier.
