NTPC CMD flags off first coal rake from Talaipalli Mine

CMD, NTPC, Gurdeep Singh, flagged off the 1st coal rake from Talaipalli Mine to Lara Super Thermal Power Project in Chhattisgarh through the dedicated Merry Go Round (MGR) system on November 21 in the presence of Chandan Kumar Mondol, Director (Commercial), Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining), A K Tripathi RED (WR II) & ED(OS), SK Ray, Head of NTPC Talaipalli, Diwakar Kaushik, Head of NTPC Lara and Neeraj Jalota, Head of NTPC Dulanga and other officials.

This 65 Km long MGR, an engineering marvel, passes through many villages in hilly terrain and through forest areas. With this rake despatch through MGR, NTPC will be able to maintain a smooth and environmentally friendly coal transportation from its captive mines to its power stations in an uninterrupted way.
