NTPC accelerates learning for 19,000 employees
Mumbai: State-run power producing major NTPC has launched several new learning programmes to upskill more than 19,000 employees to enable them to work from anywhere.
“To meet the requirements of the lockdown imposed due to Covid 19 pandemic, NTPC Learning and Development (L&D) strategy has been customised for enriching employees through intensive digitisation and online training, enabling them to avail these services from anywhere,” said AN Verma, executive director – HR.
The company has collaborated with the World Bank to enable its staff to be part of an online technical course, attending virtual classes, giving assessments and, obtaining certifications.
