N’rangpur under-construction bridge collapses

A portion of an under-construction bridge collapsed, killing a labourer and injuring three others critically in Nabarangpur district on Sunday. While centering work of the bridge over Nagi river was going on near Talapadar, about three km from Umarkote, a portion of the structure collapsed. Four labourers working on the bridge fell down and a heap of concrete and iron rods buried them. Other labourers, who were staying near construction site, rescued injured and rushed them to the Umerkote hospital..
