N’rangpur 1st dist to complete land acquisition

The construction of a six-lane Raipur- Vishakhapatnam National Highway with an estimated cost of Rs 20,000 crore is going on in full swing. 124 km of the road will be in Nabarangpur district for which land acquisition work has been completed.

Nabarangpur Collector Kamal Lochan Mishra said so far as land acquisition is concerned, Nabarangpur tops in the country as it is the only district in the country to have completed the land acquisition work in time.

He said the highway will pass through five blocks in the district namely Raighar, Umarkote, Dabugaon, Papadahandi and Nabarangpur.
