Now, NCP takes its turn to corner the ruling government on MSRTC buses

It was a major embarrassment for chief minister Eknath Shinde when leader of the opposition Ajit Pawar disclosed that three senior technical employees of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) have been suspended for plying a completely damaged bus in Osmanabad district. Pawar also displayed the picture of the bus with broken windows and a huge advertisement of the state government with pictures of the CM and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. Pawar felt that instead of suspending lower rung employees, government should immediately stop its expenditure on advertisement and utilise the funds for improving the condition of MSRTC.

Pawar pointed out that MSRTC vehicles across the state are damaged and they too have advertisements with photographs of CM and DCM. For a prolonged period, MSRTC has been facing a huge resource crunch.
