Now, generate metro ticket on mobile
NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday launched a mobile app for generating convenient and hassle-free mobile QR tickets across its network.
Paper-based QR tickets will continue to be available.
The app, DMRC Travel, was launched by Vikas Kumar, managing director of DMRC from the headquarters at Metro Bhawan.
With this app, passengers can purchase tickets directly from their smartphones, eliminating the need to go to ticket counters or vending machines or stand in queues. “Passengers can now experience a quick and efficient ticketing process, saving valuable time during their commute,” said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director, corporate communications, DMRC.
