Not increased power rates in last 9 years in Hry, says Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala
Haryana Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala said that the Government has done remarkable work in the power sector, which has paved way for the State to become one of the leading States in the country in terms of providing electricity to its people. Despite hikes in prices of coal, petrol, disease, land and other items, the Government has not increased power tariff for consumers in the last nine years. Additionally, 24 hours power supply is being provided in 5739 out of the total 6307 villages of the State. Also, the State has successfully reduced electricity transmission losses to 9.37 per cent, he added.
