No money for road repairs: MC chief

Even though roads in the city are in bad shape, these are unlikely to be repaired soon as MC Commissioner KK Yadav today said they did not have funds for the purpose.
“Not only road repair work, we do not have funds for construction work also. We are left with money only to pay salaries to the staff now,” Yadav said during a meeting of the MC House here. He said development and maintenance works in the city had been hit for want of funds.
