No meeting with farm unionists, Haryana to repair alternative roads
Chandigarh: With no solution to removing blocks on national highways on the inter-state borders of Haryana and Delhi in the wake of arrangements by Delhi and Haryana governments and presence of farmers, the Haryana has to decided to repair roads on alternate routes connecting two states.
This was decided in a meeting chaired by home minister Anil Vij at his office. Officials from public works department (building and roads), HSIIDC, HSVP, urban local bodies department and Haryana Police attended the meeting. ACS (home) Rajiv Arora informed Vij about the outcome of Sunday’s meeting with farm leaders and representations given by various stakeholders.
