NHAI to raise funds for roads from market

NEW DELHI: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will approach the capital market next month to raise funds for road projects, road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari said on Tuesday.
Gadkari said, “Initially, there will be four projects on offer and this money will be raised through InvITs. There will be an investment limit of Rs 10 lakh per retail investor, with an assured return of 7-8%.”
