NHAI to plant 60k saplings this monsoon
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will organize a special plantation drive at 75 places on five highway stretches and plant 5,500 saplings on July 17.
The saplings of jakranda, silver oak, dadu (wild pomegranate), deodar, robina, neem, walnut, chinar, ritha, gulmohar, hamelia amaltas and others would be planted on the Parwanoo-Solan, Solan-Kaithlighat, Kiratpur-Nerchowk, Nerchowk- Pandoh and Takoli-Kullu stretches of the highways.
