NHAI bans entry of cycles, two and three-wheelers on 3 high-speed corridors going via Delhi – Details inside
In its latest notification dated January 11, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has imposed restrictions on the movement of two and three-wheelers, as well as various other vehicle types, on three access-controlled national highways connected to the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. This decision aims to enhance safety on these high-speed corridors.
Speed differentials risk
Citing concerns over the potential risks posed by the speed differentials between high-speed vehicles and slower-moving ones, NHAI invoked its powers under the Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002.
