NH-709 to be completed by Feb 2022: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatar who inaugurated the work of National Highway 709-A Karnal-Meerut road to be built at a cost of about Rs 106 crore said that this highway will be dedicated to the public by February 2022. He said that with the construction of this road, not only will the people of the State be benefited but people of Uttar Pradesh too will be able to commute easily. This route will be ready in the next 15 months.

The Chief Minister said this after the inauguration of this highway starting from Devi Lal Chowk Karnal to Yamuna Bridge. He said that length of this highway is approximately 14.5 kilometers.

He informed that this highway starting from Devi Lal Chowk to Sugar Mill Karnal will be of six-lane and four-lane from Sugar Mill to Yamuna Bridge.
