New rules effect: Drone delivery startup TechEagle raises $ 0.5 million in seed round
NEW DELHI: The drone ecosystem in India has started growing rapidly after the government unshackled the sector by liberalising drone usage rules late last month. TechEagle, a drone delivery startup, has raised $ 500,000 in a seed round led by India Accelerator, with participation from Vinners Group, Sitics Logistics and other angel investors.
A Gurgaon-based deep tech company, TechEagle claims to provide end-to-end technology solution for enabling a drone logistics airline for last-mile and mid-mile deliveries. “TechEagle has received approvals from (aviation authorities) to conduct package delivery (by) beyond the visual line of sight flights in various parts of the country,” it said in a statement.
