Need for departmental enquiry for maintaining discipline highlighted

Chairman Power Companies Shailendra Shukla said a departmental probe on any employee or official should not be perceived as a matter of insult, rather it should be viewed as an opportunity to clear one’s name from the charges.

Shukla was addressing a workshop on departmental Inquiry held at Head Quarters of Power Company situated in Dangania on Tuesday.

Shukla said that departmental enquiry was an important act and procedure. The object of the probe was to deliver justice to the accused employees and officers. Departmental enquiry is part and parcel of any good organization, he said.

Speaking on this occasion, Director (Human Resources) Ajay Dubey opined that in order to keep discipline in the organization departmental enquiry was a must.
