NDMC approves proposal for smart roads, sewer treatment plant in city

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Wednesday approved proposal for smart roads, sewer treatment plant and green energy in National Capital. According to a senior NDMC official, the redevelopment of roads into ‘smart roads’ will not only be aesthetically evolved, but also designed to ensure user-convenience and experience without compromising safety of the users. The roads which will be resurfaced include Tilak Marg, KG Marg, Dr Zakir Hussain Marg, Pandara Road, Tolstoy Marg, Hailey Road, Tansen Marg and Babar Road.
