NCLAT to wait for the outcome of SC petitions to decide on Jet Airways’ bidder JKC case

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Tuesday stated that it will take a call on the status of the Jet Airways bidder Jalan Kalrock Consortium after the Supreme Court decides on separate petitions filed before the apex court.

JKC is contesting separate petitions in various fora, challenging its right to operationalise the airline. Five such petitions are listed before the Supreme Court.

At the appellate tribunal, the State Bank of India-led consortium has been contesting the transfer of ownership to the airline on account of violation of the resolution plan.
