Mumbai rains: Vistara issues waiver on cancellation fee, date change requests

In wake of the heavy rainfall in Mumbai, flight operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport were affected for the second day today. As per a live flight-tracking website, 14 incoming and 16 outbound flights were cancelled on Thursday. In addition, 118 flights were delayed, including 86 departure, news agency PTI reported.

Vistara Airlines has issued a waiver on date change and fee on ticket cancellation today.

“Due to heavy rains and flooding in Mumbai yesterday and forecast for more rain today, we are extending waiver of date change and cancellation fee for flights to/from Mumbai for those booked to travel today, 5th September.”
