Mumbai: Metro one services disrupted due to technical snag

MUMBAI: Services on the Mumbai Metro one corridor between Versova-Andheri-Corridor were affected for one hour during the evening peak hour, resulting in overcrowding on roads and stations on Wednesday.

A Mumbai Metro One Private Ltd (MMOPL) official said, “There was some technical fault reported at around 8.20 pm because of which services were operating on curtailed route between Airport Road station and Ghatkopar. Normal services on the entire route resumed at 9.15pm.”

Commuters who were stranded at enroute stations had a tough time getting road transport by, either bus or autorickshaw, to reach their destinations.
