Mumbai Metro One extends operations by an hour
MUMBAI: Mumbai Metro One has extended train operations by an hour in the morning to cater to increased number of passengers on the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridors.With this increase in timing, Mumbai Metro One’s operational timings are back to pre-Covid schedule.
Mumbai Metro One spokesperson said, “Now, the first train will depart at 5:30 am from Versova and Ghatkopar. The last train from Versova will depart at 11:20 pm and from Ghatkopar at 11:45 pm.”
The daily trips on weekdays will go up to 380 from 366. Before Covid-induced restrictions, Metro One used to operate about 400 services. Earlier, the first train used to depart from Andheri and Ghatkopar at 6:30 am.
