Mumbai: Gas pipeline damage hits Kandivli area

MUMBAI: People receiving piped cooking gas in and around Mahavir Nagar in Kandivli (W) were inconvenienced due to damage to a Mahanagar Gas pipeline on the main road on Wednesday evening.
An inquiry was being conducted. MGL shut supply to consumers in the vicinity and sent a team for speedy restoration.
A senior MGL official said it may “take some time” for repair.
Many households were affected, especially in the evening, when many cook dinner.
