Mumbai: CNG price drops by Rs 2, piped gas by one rupee from Sunday morning
MUMBAI: The price of CNG and piped cooking gas will be reduced in Mumbai and neighbouring areas from Sunday morning.
Consequent to the reduction in price of domestically produced natural gas by the Union government, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) announced it will reduce its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price by Rs 2 per kg and domestic piped natural gas(PNG) by 1 rupee per unit in and around Mumbai from Sunday.
Accordingly, revised delivered prices inclusive of all taxes of CNG and domestic PNG in and around Mumbai will be Rs 47.95 per kg and Rs 29.60 per unit (slab 1 of piped gas consumers) and Rs 35.20 per unit (slab 2) respectively.
