Mumbai: Central and Western Railway megablocks scheduled today; expect delays on Harbour and Suburban lines
MUMBAI: Passengers on Mumbai’s local trains are advised to brace for disruptions today as both Central and Western Railways carry out megablocks for maintenance and infrastructure work.
On the Central Railway’s Harbour line, a megablock will be in effect between Kurla and Vashi stations from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm for various engineering and maintenance activities. Special suburban trains will operate on the CSMT–Kurla and Panvel–Vashi sections during the block. Harbour line passengers can also travel between Thane and Vashi/Nerul stations until 6 pm. There will be no megablock on the Main suburban line between CSMT and Kalyan, providing some relief to commuters.
