MUMBAI: Brace for crowds on Western Railway platforms on Monday, especially during peak hours, as 326 train services will be cancelled throughout the day— marking the highest number of cancellations in a single day during the ongoing work on the 6th line between Khar and Goregaon stations.
The BEST will operate special buses to accommodate the rush of commuters at bus stops outside WR stations in light of the cancellations.
The work will be completed by November 3 and will help to improve punctuality and enable additional train services in the future, an official said.
