Mukesh Ambani announces RIL’s new energy business; to put India on world solar and hydrogen map

Reliance Industries’ Chairman Mukesh Ambani today put forward a three-fold strategy and roadmap for implementing RIL NSE -2.50 %’s 15-year commitment to become net carbon zero by 2035.

“The global New Energy agenda needs to move from dialogue to action, from commitment to urgent implementation on the ground. It is not enough to be carbon neutral; the world needs to achieve absolute reductions in emissions soon” Ambani said in the company’s 44th annual general meeting.
