Most state highways yet to go for payments through FASTags
Even as FASTag has been made mandatory for all four-wheelers and above category vehicles from January 1, currently apart from all toll plazas on national highways only 112 plazas on the roads under seven state governments allow toll payments through this smart tag.
Most of the municipal corporations are yet to go for the uniform mode of entry tax collection through FASTag. In the case of Delhi, the municipal corporation has issued a separate RFID tag for commercial vehicles.
