More flights coming to Chennai Airport soon as AAI plans big modifications

Chennai’s airport is set to undergo significant changes to accommodate more domestic flights during peak hours. As per a ToI report, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is planning to modify the old international departure terminal (T4) and an unused arrival terminal on the ground floor to serve domestic flights. These additions will create two domestic terminals, one on each side of the integrated international terminal, with interlinking facilities for transit passengers.
