Moonidih project breaks production record
The Moonidih coal mines under Western Jharia area of BCCL has broken twenty five years coal production record with producing 593691 tonnes of coal in a year ending on March 31/22 .Besides, it also has broken the monthly production record by producing 93550 tonnes of coal in the month of March this year.
Area general manager JS Mahapatra while giving details said, “By this we have broken the previous record of production of 5.75 lakh tones of coal that was set twenty years ago”.
On March 31 yet another record of producing 4500 tonnes of coal in a day too was set up, he added.
