Mission Blacktop to make roads pothole free: CM

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said the state government has undertaken a ‘mission blacktop’ under which the roads of the state would be made free from the potholes. He was addressing a gathering at Mini Stadium at Haldwani after inaugurating a mega employment fair on Wednesday. He announced that an IT Academy would be set up at the Uttarakhand Open University Haldwani. Dhami said that the profit share of the ration shop owners would be increased from Rs 18 to Rs 50 per quintal and the Dearness Allowance (DA) of the employees of Corporations would be increased from 17 to 28 per cent after approval from their boards. He said that the Baluti village road would be named after former chief minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari.
