Missed call service for power connection
The Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Co (CSPDCL) is commencing a missed call service from March for new electricity connection.
Managing Director Harsh Gautam said there was already a provision of online filing of application form for new electricity connections.
Consumers can file the application from any service centre or through their smart mobile phones having ‘More Bijli App’.
For consumers not having smart phones, the new service of giving a missed call for seeking a new electricity connection is being launched from March. It will target rural areas, he said.
On receipt of a missed call, the operator of the department’s Call centre will contact the caller. The operator will assist in filing the online application form of the consumer.
