Min directs for regular meets of power bill correction committees
Energy Minister Priyavrat Singh has directed the officials to conduct regular meetings of electricity bill correction committees. Grievance redress camps should also be organized at regular intervals. He said that the complaints received at the meeting and camp should be resolved promptly.
The Energy Minister informed that two zones will be created in Deendayal Nagar Zone in Gwalior in view of the increasing number of the consumers. Singh said that five new consumer service centres will also be opened in Gwalior city.
Energy Minister Singh informed that solar pumps will be given to two lakh farmers. The state government will provide 50 per cent subsidy for solar pumps, while 30 percent subsidy will be made available by the Government of India.
