MIAL to sound out global investors for bond sale
Mumbai International Airport (MIAL) will conduct roadshows with global bond investors on February 22 and 23 as it looks to re-charge plans for an overseas bond offering amidst volatility in international markets, according to people in the know.
The virtual roadshows will be led by Jeet Adani, the son of Gautam Adani, and Adani’s group chief financial officer Robbie Singh, according to the sources. Jeet is a director of MIAL. Investors from Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia and the US have been invited to the roadshows.
MIAL has appointed 12 investment banks. These include Standard Chartered, Barclays, Axis Bank, DBS Bank, Deutsche Bank, Emirates NBD Capital, IMI-Intesa Sanpaolo, JPMorgan, MUFG, Mizuho Securities, SMBC Nikko and Societe Generale. Adani group did not respond to ET’s queries.
