Metro 3 train runs between MIDC-Vidyanagari-SEEPZ

MUMBAI: Metro 3 achieved yet another significant milestone after train movement was successfully carried out today between MIDC-Vidyanagari-SEEPZ metro stations on October 7.

The train traveled back to SEEPZ covering a total distance of around 17 km during the run. Metro plans to open the services by year end on the phase 1 stretch between Aarey and Bandra-Kurla Complex

Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) spokesperson said, “The train movement from MIDC- vidyanagari-SEEPZ demonstrates culmination of infrastructure works of track, Overhead Contact System , rolling stock, fitment structure of track side infrastructure such as Platform Screen Door to the level of receiving train for further activities.”
