Man, wife electrocuted in Keonjhar
A man and his wife were electrocuted on Tuesday night at Jamukundia village of Anseikala panchayat under the Joda police station in Keonjhar district. However, their five-year-old daughter had a narrow escape.
The deceased were identified a Manduru Munda (42) and his wife Raimani (35).
Manduru and Raimani along with their daughter Arani had returned from the local village market at around 8.30 pm, when they came in contact with a live electrical wire hanging near the main door of their house, a police official said.
The couple died on the spot.
Getting information on Wednesday morning, a Joda police team reached the spot and initiat6ed an investigation.
