Man arrested at Bengaluru airport for smoking on IndiGo flight from Assam

A 20-year-old youth was arrested by Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL) police. The youth, identified as Seheri Choudari, a resident of Govindapura PT3 village, Kachar district in Assam, was arrested after he was caught smoking in the lavatory of a flight by the cabin crew on Friday. The police arrested him after a complaint was filed by the cabin crew.

Seheri travelled in IndiGo 6E716 flight from Kolkata to Bengaluru. He was caught by the crew smoking a cigarette in the lavatory at midnight. The crew immediately secured him. The flight captain declared her as an unruly passenger. As soon as the flight landed in KIAL, the crew handed her over to the security officers.
