Maiden flight from Bengaluru to Shivamogga to take off on Thursday
The modern greenfield airport at Shivamogga will receive its first flight on Thursday, an official statement from the state government said.
The Indigo flight is scheduled to depart from Kempe Gowda International Airport at 9.50 a.m. and arrive at Shivamogga at 11.05 a.m. On landing the first flight will receive a celebratory water cannon salute.
