M&M showcased some of its born-electric vehicles at Oxfordshire, UK, on August 15 this year.
The new Chakan facility was approved by the Maharashtra government on Tuesday. M&M already has a manufacturing facility in the area, with the new plant being expected to be set up with a Rs 10,000 crore investment over the next seven to eight years.
