Maharashtra: Stop system of average power bills, says Speaker

The state legislative assembly Speaker told the Maharashtra government to stop calculating average electricity bills in the state.
Taking note of Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis’ allegation that consumers have been receiving inflated bills, Speaker Nana Patole instructed the state government not to issue average calculated bills to consumers.
