Maharashtra: CNG pump owners defer stir to January 26

The 244 petrol, diesel and CNG pump owners in Mumbai region will not go on strike from Monday as the agitation has been deferred to January 26 as Union petroleum ministry intervened on the issue and called association members for talks in Delhi.

Pravin Talreja of United CNG Dealers’ Association said, “On Sunday, we met senior officials from GAIL and also representatives from the petroleum ministry in Delhi. For time being, we have deferred our strike call to January 26.”
