Maharaja’s Makeover: Air India to invest $400 million to refurbish cabin interiors

Air India, following its privatisation and under new owner Tata Sons, has stepped up measures to get into a new avatar to take on rivals in the world’s third largest domestic aviation market. As the latest step in its makeover, the flag carrier plans to spend over $400 million to refurbish the cabin interiors.
