Ludhiana: 18 months on, work to rebuild Sua Road still incomplete

The Municipal Corporation has failed to complete the reconstruction of Sua Road (from Peepal Chowk to Delhi Road) at Gobindgarh in Ward 28 even after passing of more than 18 months. Now, the overflowing sewage has increased the woes of commuters in the industrial area.

The ready mix concrete (RMC) work, at an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore, on Sua Road was started in December 2020 and it was supposed to be completed within six months. However, it is still incomplete.
