L&T’s construction arm wins significant contracts, stock recovers

Mumbai: Engineering major Larsen & Toubro on Wednesday said that its construction arm has secured significant contracts in its heavy civil infrastructure, power transmission and distribution business.

At 2:29 pm, the stock recovered from the day’s lows and was trading 1.61 per cent higher at Rs 1,049.65, while benchmark Sensex was up 0.68 per cent at 43,570.95 points.
