L&T Construction bags large order to construct Bhogapuram International Airport in Andhra Pradesh
L&T Construction on Monday announced that its Buildings & Factories & Transportation Infrastructure businesses have secured a large order in the range of Rs 2500 crore- Rs 5000 crore, from the GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport Limited for the engineering, procurement and construction of the greenfield Bhogapuram International Airport at Bhogapuram in Andhra Pradesh.
The project will initially be developed to handle 6 MPA (million passengers per annum) capacity to be further enhanced to a capacity to handle 12 MPA, the company said in a regulatory filing.
