Low fare carriers extend special fares to bolster demand
Low fare carriers IndiGo NSE 2.24 %, SpiceJet NSE 1.93 % and AirAsia India have extended the date of special sales, as they try to bolster demand in the upcoming lean travel season.
IndiGo’s website showed domestic fares as low as Rs 877. Bookings for the sale are open between Jan 13 to 24 (extended from the earlier last date of Jan 17) for travel between April 1 to September 30, 2021. IndiGo also offered a fee as low as Rs 500 on the first change for travel during the travel period.
