The Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Wednesday slammed Delhi Government over the move of waiving of the power subsidy by default instead the people who want to continue to avail the subsidy had to apply for it, in the national Capital.
Bidhuri said that the Kejriwal Government has made the entire people of Delhi beggars. Now every person would need to request the Government for the electricity subsidy.
“Kejriwal has bankrupted the national Capital and is now trying to find out different ways to stop the electricity subsidies being given to its consumers. The Delhi Government has no money to continue the power subsidy to all that’s why he asked power consumers to give a missed call to opt to subsidy,” he added. Bidhuri said that there are 58 lakh electricity consumers in Delhi.
