Looking to woo Indian flyers with flexible fares: VietJet VP
NEW DELHI : Budget carrier VietJet Air will start operating direct flights connecting New Delhi with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from December. The airline, headquartered at Hanoi, aims to offer Indian travellers more options to travel to South-East Asian and East Asian countries. VietJet’s vice president Nguyen Thanh Son said in an interview that VietJet will rely on its strength and competitiveness in service offerings, fleet, capacity management, cost structure, and ability to offer new services to counter the strong competition. What prompted VietJet to tap into the Indian market at this time?
India is a priority market and an important addition to our growing network globally. We are delighted to extend our services to India and launch direct flights between the two countries.
